Yes, all items are handcrafted with love and care. We only preserve real flowers and ferns which are mostly handpicked and sourced locally. No two flowers or ferns are identical which makes each item unique. Therefore, the item you receive may look slightly different from the product displayed.

All flowers and ferns need to be dried for a few weeks before they can be preserved in the resin. The drying process prevents the flowers and ferns from rotting in the resin. However, the colour of the flower or fern may become lighter or less vibrant over time.

All earrings and necklace components are made of stainless-steel.

Our golden items are made of stainless-steel that is electroplated with gold to ensure it does not lose its colour.

Stainless-steel does not tarnish, fade, rust or colour the skin. It is hypo-allergenic making it ideal for those with sensitive skin.

All necklaces are a standard length of 40cm with a 5cm adjustable extender chain which will increase the length up to 45cm.

We do have extra-long necklaces available under our “Other” section. These necklaces are 65cm long with a 10cm adjustable extender chain which will increase the length up to 75cm.

We take great care to ensure that your products are in perfect condition and safely packaged before they are shipped.

Courier Guy is a third-party service and we cannot be held responsible should anything happen to the contents in this time.

However, if you are not satisfied with your purchase and would like to return it, please send us a message via our Contact page within 7 days of receiving it.

Refunds will be handled on a case-by-case basis and can be in the form of an exchange, a gift voucher or a full refund.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

Please note: Products being returned need to be unworn and undamaged.

Custom designs, gift vouchers and sale items are non-refundable.

You can leave a review on the product page itself, else you can leave a review about us in the contact form.

We use the PUDO service operated by Courier Guy. With PUDO, we can send your parcel to your doorstep or we can have your parcel sent to your nearest PUDO locker where you can collect it at a time that is convenient for you.

On check out you will have to select if we need to send your parcel to your doorstep or to your nearest PUDO locker.

Once your order has been processed and shipped you will receive an email notification from us with your tracking number.

You can enter this tracking number by the “Track my parcel” section on Courier Guys’ website in order to view your shipping progress.

If you select courier-to-door, the courier will contact you via SMS and/or give you a call when delivering your parcel.

If you select PUDO to the nearest locker, you will be notified via SMS and/or email once your parcel has been placed in a locker. The SMS and/or email will contain a PIN code which you will need to enter in order to open the locker containing your parcel. You will have 36 hours to collect your parcel. If you do not collect your parcel within the deadline, it will be sent to your nearest Kiosk or depot.

Your order will be processed and shipped within 2-4 working days.

Once your order is shipped, it will be delivered within 2-4 working days.

It will cost around R60 – R100 (depending on your order size) to ship your parcel either to your door or to your nearest PUDO locker.

Please note: This price is exclusive to orders under our shop section and does not apply to our bridal custom orders.

Payment & Gifting

We make use of the YOCO payment gateway for quick and easy payments. Credit and debit cards are accepted at checkout through YOCO which is secure and reliable.

You can select our manual EFT option if you prefer to make a payment from your online banking portal or app into our bank account.

Please note: If you choose this option, you will have to send your proof of payment to info@flowerfollowers.co.za within 24 hours of placing your order. If the proof of payment is not received within 24 hours, your order will be cancelled.

Yes, we do have gift vouchers available under our gift section where you will be able select the value of your gift voucher.

Once you have purchased a gift voucher, and we have received a notification of your payment, we will email the gift voucher to you along with a voucher code.

Your loved one will have to enter the unique voucher code on checkout where the rand value will be deducted from their order total.

Please note: The buyer will need to either purchase up to the value of the voucher or over.

The buyer will not be credited for any balance under the value of the voucher.

For example, If your order total is R300 and your voucher is valued at R350, the balance of R50 will be lost.

Gift vouchers are non-refundable and are valid for a period of three years from the date of purchase.

We do accept custom orders outside of our bridal range on a case-by-case basis depending on what you would like to have made. Services we do not offer include cremation preservation and breast milk preservation.

Wedding Bouquet Preservation

To avoid any disappointment, we advise booking your bouquet preservation before the wedding as we have limited space available.

Please contact us through our Enquiry section on our bridal page to request a booking and any additional information that you may need.

We need to receive your flowers within 1-3 days after the wedding depending on the condition and care of the flowers. This will ensure the best outcome for your bouquet preservation and treasured keepsake. The longer the flowers wait to be dried the higher the risk of wilting and bruising.

It is best to dedicate a responsible party for the care and handling of your bouquet after the wedding.

If you live in Port Elizabeth and surrounding areas, we can arrange for the bouquet to be hand delivered at a designated location.

If this is not possible, the flowers will need to be shipped via an overnight courier which you will need to arrange. Once you have made your booking, we will guide you through the packaging and shipping process.

The bouquet will need to be placed in a vase with cool water after the wedding. Store the flowers in a cool dry place away from ripening fruits.

Avoid unnecessarily handling the bouquet or touching the flowers as this may cause bruising which might be visible in your keepsake.

Please do not store the bouquet in a fridge or freezer. Flowers will retain moisture in the fridge and will droop, wilt and rot very quickly after you remove them from the fridge or freezer.

Please do not dry your flowers. Drying your flowers is part of the service we provide. We use different drying techniques depending on what you would like to have made and the type of flowers in your bouquet.

This largely depends on what you want to have made and how many keepsakes you would like to have made. The bigger the frame or the mould we use the more flowers can be preserved in them.

I will assess your entire bouquet and pick out the best conditioned flowers to dry. I usually try to include as wide a variety as possible, again, this depends on what you would like to have made. If there is a certain type of flower in your bouquet which you absolutely adore, you are welcome to request that I dry more of them. I will also recommend which design options will best suit your specific type of flowers.

Please note: We do not return extra flowers.

If your flowers are pressed and preserved in a glass frame, natural discoloration will occur over a period of time. Some will go darker; some will go lighter and some might turn brown.

Some flowers generally dry better than others, flowers that retain more moisture are more prone to browning.

If your flowers are preserved in resin, it will enhance the colour of your flowers. Deep coloured flowers will usually become darker. White flowers usually develop a more off-white or yellow tone. Over a period of time the flowers may become less vibrant but generally the colours are well kept.

The flowers will need to be dried for 4-8 weeks, depending on the drying process and the type of flowers. This ensures that the flowers do not rot once they are preserved.

Thereafter, your flowers will be preserved in your chosen keepsake(s) which will take an additional 2-3 weeks for completion. Once completed, your order will be shipped and you should receive your keepsakes within 2-4 working days.

We can preserve flowers from any special occasion and design a cherished keepsake for you. Please send us a message through our contact page with the details of your request. Thereafter, I will guide you through the process and we can discuss available design options and prices.

We do use a high-quality, clear, UV stabilised resin that minimises ageing and yellowing.

However, when your resin product is exposed to UV rays, its chemical structure is altered and free radicals form. These free radicals react and bond with oxygen in a process called oxidation which causes the resin to develop a yellowish or amber-like tone over time. The best way to minimise this process is to keep your product(s) away from any direct sunlight.

Environmental factors such as light, heat and exposure to chemicals lead to the breakage of polymer molecules and will reduce the longevity of your product(s).

Therefore, it is important to follow our resin care instructions below.

We work closely with you, the bride, when finalising your designs to ensure that your vision comes to life.

Each of our custom pieces require a great deal of time, care and planning to ensure your keepsake(s) will bring you joy for many years to come.

You will receive an email to notify you when your order is complete along with attached images of your keepsake(s).
This gives you the opportunity to raise any concerns that you may have or to let us know if you are not satisfied with your product(s).

Due to the nature of the product, these items cannot be reworked or altered.

If you are not satisfied with your product(s) we will try our best to resolve any concerns. Partial refunds will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

When you have confirmed that you are satisfied with your product, we will ship your keepsake(s) to you.
