All items are handcrafted from our studio in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. Colors may slightly vary from the photos because we only preserve natural flowers and ferns which are mostly handpicked and sourced locally. No two flowers or ferns are identical which makes each item unique. Therefore, the item you receive may look slightly different from the product displayed.

We use stainless-steel and stainless-steel in gold earring components to ensure high-quality, long-lasting pieces. Our golden items are made of stainless-steel that is electroplated with gold to ensure it does not lose its color. Stainless-steel does not tarnish, fade, rust or color the skin. It is hypo-allergenic making it ideal for those with a sensitive skin; however, we cannot guarantee that it will not irritate you if you have a very sensitive skin.

Interesting facts about hydrangeas:

Hydrangeas don’t have petals. Those bright colored petals are actually called sepals, which are leaves that protect the flower bud. Hydrangeas have the unique ability to drink water through their sepals.

Their colors can change based on soil acidity. Each color has a different meaning. Blue hydrangeas are typically associated with gratitude and apology. In some Asian countries they are symbolic of honor and glory. Purple hydrangeas can have various meanings.  They are associated with pride and royalty but in Japan they symbolize elegance and nobility. White hydrangeas symbolize grace, innocence and purity while pink hydrangeas are associated with love, friendship and good health.
